Purnululu National Park

The Purnululu National Park contains the well renowned Bungle Bungle Range, which is actually a quartz sandstone structure, which has been eroding for the past 20 million years. As a result of erosion, this formation has been able to take the shape of beehive shaped towers. Spend a pleasant time studying these structures and their uniqueness.

Purnululu National Park
The Purnululu National Park is a World Heritage Site in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. The 239,723-hectare (592,370-acre) national park is located approximately 300 kilometres (190 mi) south of Kununurra, with Halls Creek located to the south.

Wandjina Rock Art

Wandjina is considered as a powerful spirit of a Rain Maker in the North-West area of Kimberly. You can view the Wandjina images which are painted on the different rock galleries in the region. These are known to be marked in red and white ochre. Prepare yourself to be amused and enthralled by the aboriginal stories depicted here. Hence you get to spend a few hours here examining the ancient Rock Art and to understand the manner in which the historical stories are illustrated using the Rock Art.

El Questro

Among the vast ancient East Kimberly landscape, you can find the El Questro which is indeed a destination unlike any other you have been to. This is one of the last frontiers in Australia and you have the opportunity to explore this at your leisure during the tour. El Questro is considered the heart of the Kimberly region, and this is actually due to the different mountains, mud and salt flats, thermal springs, rainforests and waterfalls which are situated in this area which you can thoroughly enjoy.

El Questro
The park is located 110 kilometres (68 mi) west of Kununurra and is accessed from the Gibb River Road and encompasses an area of over 1,000,000 acres (4,047 km2) that extends some 80 kilometres (50 mi) into the heart of the Kimberley.
