Your overland trip will begin in Darwin, where you will travel south to Edith Falls or Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park. The 9-day tour includes camping with amenities, food, and a sightseeing tour of Broome. Swim among waterfalls, see Australia’s unique fauna, and sleep under the stars!

Lake Argyle

Lake Argyle can be described as the highlight of the Broome to Darwin tour. Lake Argyle is a massive freshwater lake filled with wildlife such as wallabies in the rocky shores, freshwater crocodiles and birdlife. You will board a boat where a local guide will show you the lake, there is time to swim before catching the sunset from the water and then camp on one of the remote islands. You can take an optional sunset cruise on Lake Argyle ($40). Then, set up camp nearby for the night.

Purnululu National Park

Purnululu National Park, also known as the Bungle Bungles. Our time in this region is spent hiking and exploring the Gorges and amazing landscapes the area contains. The park was inscribed as a World Heritage area and The majestic “bee hive” dome structures are the most famous image from the area. The day ends with an amazing sunset from a vantage point at camp.
