Day trip from Perth to Fremantle
1) There is a bus service to Fremantle from Perth. It’s an ideal day trip, with Fremantle Prison, several museums, Fremantle market, and the E-shed market markets. Fremantle boasts the Fremantle capo chino strip with many excellent cafes and restaurants.
You can go to Fremantle by bus, and if you wish to return back to Perth central station go by train train. There is also a water option from Perth to Fremantle. However, the docking station is about 15 minutes walk from Fremantle city or a 5 minute bus trip.
Day trip from Perth to Rockingham
2) Visit Rockingham, there are several ways of getting to Rockingham from Perth by bus all the routes enable you to see typical Perth suburbs. At the end of this trip, you will be treated to one of the best foreshore and views in Perth. The beach has golden sands, and you can watch the local’s fish on the jetty. The beach area is also surrounded by cafes and restaurants. The foreshore has benches and shade, and you can also use the BBQ’s provided by the local council. Tired after your long bus ride, then why not catch a train back to Perth, it takes around 30 minutes to return to the heart of Perth city.

3) Catch a bus to Scarborough beach, its less than 30 minutes away, Scarborough has beautiful beaches with hotels, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Another Perth day trio destination that will make your visit to Perth memorable. However, there is no comfortable train ride from Scarborough back to Perth.
