Say hello to adventure as we leave Perth and drive into the WA wilderness. Start your adventure by viewing the huge white sand dunes and the breathtaking coastline around Lancelin. Take a tour of the Pinnacles Desert before lunch at the seaside and then drive up the Indian Ocean Drive for a beautiful view of the coast.

Stay overnight in the sleepy resort of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River flows into the Indian Ocean. This idyllic town is the gateway to Kalbarri National Park, where you can look through Nature’s Window and walk down a beautiful red gorge to view ancient fossils and beautiful rock formations.
Visit the wonders of the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park, where water has made its way through sandstone. Enjoy a great photo opportunity at Nature’s Window before you walk on a beach that consists entirely of small shells.
Monkey Mia to Northbrook / Northampton
Then go to Shark Bay, which is on the World Heritage List! The dolphins of Monkey Mia are perhaps the most famous inhabitants, but many turtles, dugongs, emus, and kangaroos also call this region home! Shell Beach, made from millions of small white shells, is a truly unique experience and learn about the stromatolites from Hamelin Pool.
Relax on the beach, cool off with a swim, rent a kayak or relax in the café overlooking the beautiful landscape. Regardless of how you choose to enjoy Monkey Mia, you will certainly take home a number of lasting memories when you return to Perth.
