The Aviary
The Aviary is Perth’s largest rooftop bar, located above the Perth underground station, right in the heart of the city. Only three floors up, the view is still beautiful over the Perth skyline and rooftops and down towards Murray Street Mall. Open from noon to late at night, The Aviary rooftop bar offers both tasty dishes and great drinks.
Mechanics’ Institute Bar
Situated in the heritage rooftops of Northbridge, it is a small and classic public rooftop bar in Perth. Regardless of the size, it has won both the ‘Best Small Bar’ and ‘Best Bar Manager’ prizes awarded by the annual Australian Bartender Magazine Awards and was nominated for the ‘Bar of the Year’ for 2018. The rooftop bar will provide a nice glimpse of the Perth skyline.
Bob’s Bar
Bob’s Bar, named after the former prime minister Bob Hawke, is a lively yet relaxing rooftop bar in Perth, located on top of the Print Hall, right in the heart of town. It is open from noon till late all days except Sunday. It serves food ranging from burgers, pizza to smaller bar snacks. The drink list is impressive, ranging from a large selection of crafted beers to well-made signature cocktails like the KFC (Kentucky Fruit Cocktail).
The Standard
Mounted on top of a converted shipping container comprising of leafy foliage, wooden decks and views out to the city skyline, it is another great rooftop bar in Perth. The bar is famous for food like glazed pork, seafood charcuterie, and fava chips. The wide range of drinks include cocktails like Pimms and Carafe. The ‘Thyme Machine’, a zesty vodka tonic with pear liqueur, thyme, and ginger beer, is one of the best drinks served in this bar.
The Sherry
The Sherry is another rooftop bar in Perth which provides a relaxed environment. It is situated on the top floor of The Flour Factory. It contains a concise list of sherry cocktails list which will please everyone. In addition to the drinks, food can be ordered from the Flour Factory and enjoyed on the rooftop, which makes it a much more pleasing experience. Its signature drink is “The Sherry”, made with fino, Bacardi, spiced-apple syrup and citrus bitters.
