Kimberley Tours From Broome Summary

Windjana Gorge in the Napier Ranges

On day one, you depart Broome early to head east towards the Gibb River Road before arriving at Windjana Gorge in the Napier Ranges. Relax, explore and grab some lunch before trekking the gorge to see the native birds and eerie freshwater crocodiles. You’ll then head to Silent Grove for an unforgettable night camping under the starlit sky.

Soak up the fresh air of the wilderness when you awake on day 2, then prepare to explore gorges including Bell, Galvans and Manning.

Emma Gorge and Zebedee Springs

On days 3 and 4, you’ll visit the beautiful Emma Gorge, and spend the two nights in the outback oasis of El Questro. You can even take a dip in Zebedee Springs!

Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungles

When day 5 arrives, you begin your journey from El Questro to Purnululu National Park, which is home to the famous Bungle Bungles. Witness the sandstone formations of Echidna Chasm before settling in for the night. Waking up after plenty of rest on day 6, you will explore Picanninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge. There is also the chance to take a whizzing helicopter ride over The Domes (at your own expense).

Lake Argyle

The tour is slowly coming to an end by day 7, and this is your chance to roam Australia’s largest man-made lake, Lake Argyle. Take an optional cruise across the waters, before finishing off the day by crossing into the Northern Territory and camping at Victoria River.

Nitmiluk National Park

Day 8 is the final day of the tour, and it definitely saved the best until last. Visit one of the Northern Territory’s most amazing places – Nitmiluk National Park! Be blown away by the towering cliff walls and labyrinth waterways, before stopping at Edith Falls.

By early evening, you will be in Darwin, and it’s now time to relax after one crazy journey.
