A Film is shown every Friday at the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre from 12-2pm starting with Ten Canoes on 7th December, Bran Nue Dae on 14th, Three Boys Dreaming on 21st, Rabbit-Proof Fence on 4th January, We Don’t need a map on 11th and Yolngu Boy on the 18th.

Beach Yoga classes take place at Ocean Road, South Fremantle, north of the South Beach Cafe. The classes are 8th, 15, 22,29 December and 5th January from 7.30-8.30 am, and each session will cost $15.

Nyoongar artist, Sharon Calgaret will be holding dot painting projects on Saturdays in December from 12-2pm. Each class will cost $15. Materials are available in the classroom. You can bring along any specific project that is of interest to you.
#1 Kiteboarding race
The Southern Hemisphere’s #1 kiteboarding race, the Red Bull Lighthouse to Leighton from Rottnest Island, will be held on 8 December and you can be a part of the fun by heading down to the beach to cheer on the 135 competitors as they race to shore.
Now in its 9th year, the race is a ‘must do’ for serious kiters who take on the 19 km open ocean course from Rottnest Island to Leighton Beach, Fremantle. There’s more than $5000 in prize money and look out for the Red Bull wigwams on the beach. It is free of charge.
