We’re talking about dancing, live music, floating Sunday sessions, markets, and other activities. There is also a good selection of food and beverages. There are plenty to pick from based on your likes and company, whether you are with friends or family.

Besides tourist facilities Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park Tennis club and a reservoir. The streets are tree lined with individual plaques dedicated by family members to Western Australian service men and women who died in World War I and World War II. The park is also rich in flora (both native and introduced) and during September of each year Kings Park hosts Australia’s largest wildflower show and exhibition – the Kings Park Festival.

Cottesloe Beach

The Cottesloe Beach is a favourite attraction in Perth.  Flaunting sparkling blue waters and beautiful well maintained shores, the beach is a winner among those seeking leisure. To add to its appeal it also happens to be the safest beach for activities like swimming. Cottesloe Beach also has a number of pubs and cafes in the vicinity where you can grab a bite or a drink whenever you may need it.

Ten Day Trips From Perth
Cottesloe Beach is a popular beach in Cottesloe and one of the most iconic locations of Western Australia. The enduring popularity of the beach is the result of combinatuon of factors including proximity to metropolitan Perth, accessibility by train, shelter from strong summer breezes and presence of offshore reefs making it a relatively safe swimming location. It has been recognised by the Heritage Council as a place of cultural significance since 2005.
